Registration to Aqsiq (PRC) for Six Categories of Scrap Material to be exported into China is underway now

  Registration required by Aqisq (PRC) for Scrap Material to be exported into China is underway now. Overseas waste materials suppliers of the six categories are required to register with AQSIQ on late of 2003, and the registration was once suspended for near one year. Since August,2005,Aqsiq reopen to receive application for this registration, and it is still underway! The AQSIQ stands for the "General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine." And the six categories of scrap material includes Waste Of Paper, Textile Material, Metal, Hardware, Sugar, and parings and scrap of plastics, Waste of ,from Manufacture of Iron or Steel. From Dec 1, 2005 on, any shipment of the said scrap material are to be denied for shipped into China if the suppliers is not registered to Aqsiq.
